Christmas Outreach 2023

                                                                      Our Outreach 

For the past several years, our church has generated several thousand dollars to go towards two special emphasis.  A local emphasis and an overseas emphasis.  Project Manuelito in Londrina Honduras and also a Christmas Tree drive for the community. 

 

Project Manuelito –  serves orphaned and neglected children.  We have sent several teams to this project, building and updating buildings, as well as just enjoying the kids.  We have several sponsors and our church gives regularly.  But, we do a special donation this time of the year for Christmas gifts for the kids that the staff go and purchase.

 

Christmas Tree Ministry – We have found a true blessing in partnering with a local Christmas Tree farm and raising money as a church to go towards $50 vouchers for families in need to go towards getting their own Christmas tree.  There are no strings attached, only our hope that people see the hope that is within us that comes from Jesus.  We started the first year donating 7 trees and over the years, this emphasis has increased to 14-15 trees.   One thing you could help with, is letting us know if you know of a family this could help in the Milwaukie, SE Portland, or Oregon City area.

 

We also provide special gifts for our shut-ins and also special turkey/ham foodboxes for those that request them both for thanksgiving and Christmas
